GLYSERIN
Glycerin, also known as "glycerol", is a polar organic trihydroxy alcohol in liquid form. It is a slightly sweet, non-toxic liquid. Mixes with water and alcohol; soluble in acetone. Medical glycerin is used as a sugar in diabetes and also with ointments applied externally to the skin.
