VINYL ACETATE MONOMER
VAM is the main ingredient in the manufacture of a wide range of emulsion polymers such as polyvinyl acetate, as well as intermediates used in paints, adhesives, printing ink coatings and textiles. It is also used in the production of ethylene vinyl acetate, an elastomeric copolymer with many applications.
